...Now free ,Alive & Dngerous , last seen in the Redditch area of the Midlands (Up North as us Southerners say)..Listened to these cats for a few months now, & im now covinced they are my kind a band..Raw , Wild & a little bit Mental (Like me)..The video's show how theses cats can get rockin with the best of em..The main thing I Like is they play songs that alot of bands dont seem to play anymore..( Johnny Burnette -Tear It Up , Carl Perkins - Honey Dont , Mac Curtis - If I had Me a Woman )..& if thats not wild enough , the lads alo write their own crazzy tracks ( One Of These Days , Love Struck Blues , Its All Over Now , Your Lovin Man )
The DeadShots were formed after lead
guitarist Billy Jenkinson was playing in Essex with another band and happened to
meet singer Matt at the gig. After a brief, drunken jam during the show, the two
decided that they should form there own kick-ass, rockin' band. As luck would
have it, Bill had heard tell of a strange creature with a talent for hitting
things really hard with sticks and so Jack Smith was recruited into the band.
Kev Griffiths is the oldest member so the rest of the lads are trying to get as
much bass playing out of him before he retires or dies of old age.
